Great Food! Awesome Customer Service.

Nice little place to eat. Fresh pasta, you can really tell the difference from the first bite. Tight on parking but the college grounds open up after 5:30.

If you are a fan of the B52s and tv shows like cheers then this place is for you. If you prefer a modern place that takes chances with their menu then try another spot. Outdated menu in a dilapidated Victorian style home that is overgrown with a rat nest of vines. The tables have stem ware and plastic cups for the salad dressing. Owners need to find their identity and stick to it. Great live music and a slightly older retiree crowd. I’d skip it for mom and pops if I was you.

Awesome place to go for great food and atmosphere!

Here to escape Hurricane Dorian. Decided to try a local favorite for dinner. My husband and I have eaten Greek & Italian from coast to coast and saw the great reviews. I don't do this often but sadly I must give this place a thumbs down. The cleanliness was borderline repulsive both inside and out, there was a funky odor once entering the establishment, the service albeit friendly was fairly slow and the food was mediocre. My suggestion is to invest in some good housekeeping & landscaping crews. Fairly certain we won't be back.

My husband and I really enjoyed this little gem. The food was really good and better than expected initially. The Greek and Italian options were really done well and the service was good as well. We felt like the only people there. We hope they get more customers in the door.

Good food and quiet atmosphere

Popped in for a quick week night dinner. Always fantastic. Wife had the Cannelloni and I had the Moussaka, both were superb with our red wine. Great house salads and bread too!

I love everything that I've eaten here, though my favorite is their Lasagna with a side of Italian sausage. The Greek salad and cream of mushroom soup is also tasty. My wife loves the Mediterranean Bass, also delicious, so when you want great food in an eclectic, romantic, and friendly atmosphere, give them a shot. I don't believe that you'll be disappointed.

Food and service is great

Save your money and time and go to fazolis or Olive Garden. Waited for 45 minutes just to seat and received subpar food at best. Chicken was dry, had little “Alfredo” sauce on it and they totally forgot to put the spinach on the plate. Worst $70 I’ve ever spent.

Always fantastic. A little pricey, but worth it guit those special occasions. Souvlaki to DIE for.

Very unique atmosphere, old house with small dining rooms. We split the Greek combination and couldn't have been happier. And of course, Baklava! Valdosta has a gem here.

Awesome little hidden-gem in Valdosta. Better than I expected. All of the staff that we encountered were super nice and informative. Bruna was an excellent server. We needed for nothing. Grape leaves are served fresh and hot. Fantastic roast lamb and souvlaki. Spinach pie is delicious. We also had a pitcher of their house-made sangria... I highly recommend.

We had the full course for 2 which was and excellent deal. We had a large variety of food to try all of which was very flavorful and delicious. The meal include individual apps and soup as well as salad which was amazing. The free beverage that comes with it was also a nice touch. Overall it was a great drinking experience and seemed well worth the money spent.

In the past, I've always enjoyed Giulio's. The ambiance is akin to visiting one's European grandparents who have too much furniture and and bric a brac, but that's part of its charm. The service has always been pleasant and the food was great, whether we had classic Greek dolmades, moussaka, etc. or salmon or other dinner specials. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined, and while the service was still very accommodating, with the exception of the dolmades, bread, salad, and spanikopita, the entrees were inedible. If a Greek restaurant cannot serve a delicious lamb, what's the point? The lamb served last night was revolting: gray, with a pungent mutton-like odor, and rice floating in soggy canned tomatoes alongside over-cooked carrots. My son's chicken pie was soggy, the chicken had a distinctly canned taste, and the sauce was flavorless. Needless to say, our pets will be dining well on our to go boxes, and we won't be returning.

This place is in Valdosta?!?! Definitely best dolmas/dolmadoes I've ever had through unbelievably fast and friendly service.

Service is slow, hostess uses scrap paper to decide who gets seated. Food was horrible, not like any authentic Greek/Italian I have had in the past. Not worth the time or money.

The atmosphere was excellent with live music that wasn't so overpowering that you could actually enjoy the music and carry on a conversation. The food choices on the menu were abundant with evening specials. We all left there stuffed from an excellent meal. The hostess provided some historical information about the home where the restaurant resides and the family that owns and operates it. It was built in 1920 and is full of charm. Don't miss the chance to sit down for a wonderful meal here. A+++

AMAZING food AND service ! Staff was extremely sweet, friendly, and welcoming. Already its a little pricey, the food was well worth it. We went from Greek, it was SO good !! Truly a blessed place :)

What an experience! Walk into a small foyer, with 15 people standing in it. Person behind the host station isn't an employee, just someone waiting for a table. There just wasn't enough room. A lady absent mindedly walks in and looks over the list trying to figure out who is next. Literally just notes of paper laying around with names on them. Eventually she calls out for a party of three. But doesn't know the name. That's when customers started arguing about who got there first. I didn't stay to see who won the argument.

True authentic Greek and Italian food. I haven't had such a good meal in a long time.

I've eaten here once and I had fun while I was here. The food was fantastic and seemed authentic. It was pricey, but I'm willing to pay that for the delicious food on occasion. The people were nice but the service was extremely laid back and slow. I'm not sure if this was a cultural thing (Mediterranean and south GA), but it was very time consuming. Parking is an issue, because it's hard to know where to park. The atmosphere is a little strange because you might be the only person eating there. Keep in mind that this is a house turned into a restaurant, so there are tables and chairs in the living room of a house-restaurant. It was a super fun experience for me and I would totally go again.

Greek salad was really fresh and loaded with black olives, tomatoes and Cumberland, dressing was light and flavorful. Spinach lasagna was also superb, bursting with flavor, you really didn’t miss the meat! Adequate wine list rounds out the culinary delights. If I lived here I would be a frequent patron. Highly recommended...
